I can't receive a payment
Check that your merchant account is validated and that your Mobile Money payout number is correctly entered in the dashboard. If the problem persists, write to us with the transaction reference.
My customer paid but I didn't receive it
Payouts arrive within 2 to 5 business days depending on the operator. You can track payout status from the dashboard. Beyond 5 days, contact us with the reference.
How do I go live?
From your developer dashboard, click "Activate production" and provide the requested documents for account validation. Once validated (24 business hours), your sk_live_… keys are active.
Webhook not firing
Make sure your endpoint responds over HTTPS with a 2xx status. Otherwise, CowemaPay treats delivery as failed and retries. The developer dashboard lets you replay webhooks manually.

For any other question, write to support@cowemapay.com with:
- Your merchant account ID (visible in the dashboard)
- The reference of the relevant transaction if applicable (
cs_…orpi_…) - A screenshot if possible
Average response time: under 24 business hours.
Technical emergencies
For production-blocking incidents (cannot collect, broken API integration), prefix the email subject with [URGENT].
