The rules that govern the use of CowemaPay by merchants and their customers.
These terms of service govern the use of the CowemaPay services provided by Cowema SARL, a company registered in Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo).
Merchant — any person or entity using CowemaPay to collect payments.
End customer — any person making a payment to a merchant via CowemaPay.
Services — the entire CowemaPay product suite (Payment Links, Hosted Checkout, API).
By creating a CowemaPay account, the merchant unreservedly accepts these terms. Future versions may be notified by email.
CowemaPay charges a 2.5% commission per successful transaction. No sign-up fee, no subscription, no fee on payouts. The full breakdown is available on the pricing page.
The merchant undertakes to provide accurate information when signing up, not to use CowemaPay for illegal activities, and to comply with the regulations applicable in their country of operation.
CowemaPay cannot be held liable for disputes between merchants and end customers, for network failures of Mobile Money operators, or for misuse of the service.
These terms are governed by Congolese law and the applicable OHADA uniform acts. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Brazzaville.
